Replacement and refund according to the conditions of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry in the State of Kuwait.
1- The customer may replace the product or return it and receive its paid value within 14 days from the Date of Invoice, with the same payment method, provided that the products is in its original package (sealed) and original condition and the product has all its accessories.
2- The customer must return any gift (sealed) or coupon that he acquired when purchasing the device which he intends to return or replace.
3- Edge International authorized service centers provide the warranty for own agency products in Kuwait. The warranty of the other products is provided by the authorized agent of such products in Kuwait accompanying the original purchase invoice.
Manufacturer’s Warranty Terms
1- The warranty starts from the date of purchase the coverage is within the State of Kuwait only and its duration is one year
2- Warranty means repair only, not replacement.
3- The Warranty for Laptops & Mobile will be valid for one year from date of purchase and covers the manufacturers defects and doesn’t cover software, batteries, and accessories (such as Battery charger, headsets, remote control devices and any other accessories). The warranty also does not cover loss of any data or any intentional damage or injury to scratches or dents resulting from daily use or software update by application producers.
4- Warranty doesn’t cover the damages that occur due to misuse improper installations by customer, breakage, and spillage of liquids or any reasons
5- The warranty doesn’t cover any units that have been repaired, opened or modified outside Edge International authorized service centers.
6- The warranty period for the compressor for air conditioning and refrigeration devices is 5 years, and the period of warranty for the motors for all devices is according to the manufacturer's warranty and as stated on the product for a year or more from the date of the invoice. The customer bears the Labor Charges, disassembly, installation, gas, and any additional consumable spare parts, and the company bears the value of the compressor or motor only and for one time during the warranty period, and the exchange is done by the Authorized Distributors only.
Terms of delivery and installation:
1- The customer must receive the goods within 3 months from the date of purchase, and in the event that the customer does not receive the goods for more than 3 months, the company has the right to calculate a percentage of 3% of the value of the purchase invoice each month in lieu of storage value - in case the goods have not been received before The customer for more than 6 months, the company has the right to dispose of the goods while preserving the customer's right to claim the value of the invoice after deducting storage fees.
2- With regard to the installation of wall and vertical air conditioning units, the company is responsible for installing extension pipes of 4 meters only, and for the installation of ceiling air conditioning units, the company is responsible for installing extension pipes of 7 meters only. The customer shall bear the value of the additional length/extension.
3- The Company is not responsible for dismantling or moving old air-conditioning units that belong to the customer. The Company is not responsible for making openings for roofs and concrete walls, as well as all excavation works related to the extensions.
Conditions related to the exchange after examining the device and making a technical report
In the event that it is not possible to repair the defective device based on the technical report, the percentage of the device’s consumption shall be deducted from the price recorded in the purchase invoice, as follows:
From the date of the invoice to 6 months 25%, from 6 months to 1st year 35%, the 2nd year 55%, the 3rd year 65%, the 4th year 75%, the 5th year 85%
In the event of an additional warranty, the conditions of the additional warranty are subject to the insurance company.
